Our Pack and Committee Meeting Schedule
"Rules to Scout By" Please take a look at our rules and expectations!
Our Cub Scout pack welcomes all boys, grades 1-5, for fun and friendship. Visit a pack meeting any time to see what we're about. We do fun activities throughout the year: Rocket Derby, Pinewood Derby, Christmas Parade, summer day camp, summer overnight camp, games, and more! |

Summer Time: Our Scouts were busy this summer with Camp Cayuse here in Woodland and Camp Lassen in the foothills above Chico.

Each camp was filled with activities. The Scouts participated in Archery, BB Gun, Swimming, Crafts, Boating, Camp Fires, and much more.

Learning to both build a camp fire and how to start it without a match was a real treat at Camp Lassen. Teaching scouts a skill of how to survive in the wilderness.

Cake Auction: All Scouts were able to participate in our cake auction fundraiser at our April Pack meeting. We thank the Woodland Reveille Lions for participating as auctioneer and bidders, their contributions were greatly appreciated. Scouts made themed cakes. Everything from a Log Cabin to an iPod cake was seen at this event. Awards for creativity were given and the event raised $600 towards future scout adventures. This was over and above our goals for the auction. Good Job SCOUTS!
Blue and Gold: To celebrate 99 years of Scouting, Pack 166 hosted a Blue and Gold Spaghetti Dinner at the Scout cabin. Delicious food was prepared by many volunteers.
Congratulations to those making the Webelos Rank!
 An Honorable Flag Retirement Ceremony.
Understanding the ceremony makes it an emotional pride filled event!!
Thank You to All!

Pinewood Derby 2009 Our Pack participated in a Pinewood derby. Each Scout was able to modify their car. Of course many used Mom and Dad's help! Trophys were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and trophys were also given to category winners. These categorys were: Most Commical, Most Sporty, Most Honest (Most Scout Built) and Most Effort. This was the first derby for most of us and the Scouts had a great time. Now we all have ideas for next year. Start Early!
Opening Ceremonies Kicked off Race Day!

The track was oiled up the night before and the Scouts patiently awaited the first Race!

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners! Good Job Scouts!!

Race Winners and Category Winners. Scout Spirit filled the cabin!!
